Only the healthiest and most fully ripe grapes are capable of giving our wines the noble, unmistakable character we strive for. With the utmost precision and dedication, we harvest only perfectly healthy grapes – each one carefully selected by hand with razor-sharp shears. Our team ensures that only the most flawless berries make it into the harvest crate.
Our dedication continues in the wine cellar: the grapes are processed gently and precisely in order to optimally extract the unique fruit and minerality that our vines transport into every berry with their deep-reaching root systems. Using state-of-the-art technology, the hand-picked grapes are gently separated from their stems, while leaves and stalks are sorted out. This meticulous approach secures the quality of our harvest and enables us to create wines of extraordinary purity and elegance. This is how we create wines that reflect the best of our vines with unmistakable LUKAS SCHMIDT character and noble sophistication.
